Kisan Credit Cards – Introduced in 1998-99, aims at providing crop loans to farmers in a flexible and cost effective manner. The scheme is administered by NABARD, and implemented through commercial banks, RRBs and co-operative banks. Beneficiaries under KCC are issued with a credit card cum passbook.
