Capital receipts- are by and large those receipts for which the government has repayment liability. These are in the nature of one-time receipts. There main capital receipts are: internal and external borrowings of the government (constitute nearly 90% of the total capital receipts.) sale of PSU or disinvestments income recovery of loans.
