Mailbox under the Patent regime- It is a means through which product patent applications are filed from January 1995 onwards. In the transitional period between 1995 and 2005 for the implementation of the TRIPS Agreement of the WTO, the product patent applications are forwarded through the mailbox and are examined from 2005.
